A politician in Nigeria was asked questions by a journalist in a chat after much promises to serve humanity selflessly in an open declaration of intention – it is a composed comedy and not in reality:
Journalist J-I: Sir, I can see you are seriously preparing to spend a lot for your campaign before the election. You are actually going for the sit of the senate. Right?
Politician: That is right.For sure. I am not preparing to spend, I have already spent a lot. Ok?
Journalist J-I: Alright sir! If Federal Government reduces the allowance and salary of legislators by 90%, will you still be interested in this position?
Politician: What? That can’t be true? I will run mad. I have spent billions of naira in my campaign already. I will scream. I will commit suicide. You can’t say that. Young man don’t ask me that. What are you trying to do. My enemies are at work again . Please tell the Federal Government not to try this. All my investments can’t just die like this. I am a dead man. No! no! no! no! no! no!

CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM TODAY: FULFILL YOUR CAMPAIGN PROMISES.
It is high time we rose from the era of talking too much to the era of doing much. I don’t believe in too many words, I believe in action and results. With this I welcome you to constructive criticism today. Elections are going on in almost all the continents of the world this period. Let me say a big congratulations to Brazil who elected her first female President last week. The Ivory Coast are planning to hold their elections before this year runs out; so many other countries are in periods of campaigns and electoral orientations, and are preparing for their elections next year.
It is absolutely a let down for a person to make promises and end up failing in the promises. A situation whereby politicians use interesting words to cajole electorates and end up disappointing them must be discouraged worldwide. Don’t be a two-timer, be as sincere as possible in your campaign. It is easier said than done. Be blunt.
I am particular about my country Nigeria and all other countries of the world. Let us act right and fulfill our promises as we get elected. Enough is enough for the syndrome of promise and fail. Youths are unemployed, crime rate is increasing drastically, showing you the extent of unemployment in the country –Nigeria. Other parts of the world are not left out though. Fulfill your promises…………………………………………….
