Ø Disregard any email you receive as a google mail (gmail) user, telling you that you have won a lottery of USD1000,000 for a promo. Google has no hand in anything as such. These are attempts by scammers to dupe people. They will demand your name, address, location and phone numbers. Do not reply their mails in any way

Ø Disregard any email you receive in the name of British America Toacco (BAT) Company, stating that you have won a lottery of USD500, 000. The company is not responsible for this email. Scammers are at work again. They will demand your name address, location and phone number.

Ø Disregard paid to read and paid to click sites requesting you to read their emails and click on banners. Most of them are fake. Some of them are listed here; www.buxptr.com / www.exclusivemails.net / www.richptr.com / www.boodaq.com and many more with similar services. They are out to use and frustrate people by making them to spend and waste their time on reading their mails.

Ø Beware of the phone number +2348031977677, claiming to be an employment officer to Nigerian Agip Oil Services. He is a scammer with the disguise name Engr. Jumbo George.

UPDATE ON THE POLITICAL STATE OF NIGERIA, IVORY COAST, SUDAN AND TUNISIA.

NIGERIA ----------------- The voter’s registration in Nigeria has started and moving quite slowly with so many flaws in the process. Nigeria is preparing for the general election coming up in April. The power of incumbency is obviously evident in the choice of the primaries organized across the different Political Parties in various States. The political parties are currently 63 in number. This is ridiculous and unimaginable. With due respect to the rule of law this number is unnecessary and time-wasting. I now believe that people are establishing political parties for the sake of getting allocations normally granted them after the general elections. Nigeria! Oh! Nigeria! Act right ! With due respect to the incumbent leader President Goodluck Jonathan, and the Legislators, I advice they do something about the rising number of political parties in the country, if possible. I rest my case here today. More updates to follow in a matter of days (Joshua Osagie aka JI).

IVORY COAST ---------- Laurent Gbagbo, give peace a chance. You are burning the candles at both ends. Give room to the rule of law. Stop the carnage. Ivoriens are dying and leaving their land. I know you have internal supporters, but let Quatarra take his rightful place as the President. Step down and stop the oppression. Civil war is sanguinary. Don’t make the world community react by force. You are in a position to give peace a chance. You are not made to rule Ivory Coast forever. Give Quatarra his mandate. Let him lead. Laurent Gbagbo, your judgement day is near, don’t draw it closer to your self. The world is running out of patience (Joshua Osagie akaJI).
